Unforgettable Family Reunion Planned by Uncle Peter from Heaven!
Here is a picture of Uncle Peter.
He was only 44 years old when he passed....
All of the sudden, on Sunday, August 4th, two weeks before the scheduled vacation, we woke up with the feeling that we needed to be with the family on August 21 since it should have been Uncle Peter’s birthday. We knew it was going to be very hard for everyone. We did not know if it would be possible to travel 24 hours by car from New Jersey to Orlando Florida in order to be with the family. We felt that Uncle Peter wanted all of us to be together on his birthday. We do not know how to explain it but it was a feeling that we needed to be together as a family. We could not explain how we could be considering the idea of surprising the extended family in Disney. We needed miracles for this to happen. First, all Brian needed to ask for another week vacation, we had taken one already a few weeks before and it was short notice too. It seemed almost impossible. We prayed that Sunday and on Monday Brian sent the email to his boss. Monday, Tuesday went by and we have not yet heard from his boss, time was running out and we needed to know because we needed to book a hotel if we were going. Finally, on Wednesday the boss got back to Brian and told him that he could take the week off. We were very excited and scared because now we need to plan everything. We decided that we would keep our trip a secret and surprise the whole extended Family in Magic Kingdom on August 21, Uncle Peter’s Birthday. In order to get the whole family together in one park, we enlisted the help of one Brian’s brother and his wife to get the whole family together at the same time in order for us to surprise them. They did a great job of keeping everything a secret. We drove for 24 long hours to Disney, but it did not matter, we were very excited to see the whole family and looking forward to spending time with them.
This a video of the car ride! The whole family was very excited but the girls could not hide their excitement!
We went on rides together: Tea Cups, , Dumbo the Flying Elephan, Little Mermaid under the Sea, etc.
This is the last trip Uncle Peter took with us when the Grandparents took only the little girls to Disney, almost 3 years now.
May you rest in peace, Uncle Peter, we miss you and we will see each other again, in Heaven! Thank you for helping us with the family reunion.
